Toolie to Speak to the Women's Professional Network of Bellingham on March 23rd

Jocelyn "Toolie" Garner will be speaking to the Bellingham chapter of the Women's Professional Network in a breakfast meeting from 7:00 am to 9:00 am on Thursday March 23rd at the Best Western Lakeway Hotel, 714 Lakeway Drive, Bellingham, Washington. Her topic is "Turning Travel Time into Up-Time: Technology for Business Travelers."

Toolie to Speak at the NSA Winter Workshop in Washington DC on February 10th

Toolie the Travel Guide will be speaking at the Washington DC Winter Workshop of the National Speakers Association on February 10, 2006 as part of a panel of international speakers for the International Professional Experts Group (PEG). The title of the panel is “Where Are You in Your International Career?” Members of this PEG may attend for free; others must pay the yearly PEG fee to attend the session. Toolie to Speak to the Geography Club at the Bear Creek School on December 12th

Toolie the Travel Guide will be speaking to the Geography Club at the Bear Creek School in Redmond, Washington on Monday, December 12, 2005. Student in grades 3-6 will join Toolie to discuss the impact of cross-cultural communication on one's world view. Toolie will also share photos from her travel photography collection.
Toolie to Speak to NSA Northwest Chapter on November 14th

Members and Affiliates of the Northwest Chapter of the National Speakers Association will be meeting on Monday, November 14th with Jocelyn "Toolie" Garner to participate in a Work Session entitled "Putting Electronic Marketing to Work." This session is a folllowup to the Chapter meeting on October 19th featuring Tom Antion's Electronic Marketing Butt Camp. The Butt Camp is open to the public; the Work Session is for Members and Affiliates only. Toolie Accepts the President-Elect Position of NSA Northwest

The Northwest Chapter of the National Speakers Association today announced that Jocelyn "Toolie" Garner has accepted the post of President-Elect for the 2005-2006 year and the Chapter Presidency for 2006-2007. Ms. Garner has been the Vice President of Finance for the 2004-2005 fiscal year.
For the current fiscal year, Ms. Garner is a member of the Programming Design Committee, and will participate in the selection of speakers for the Chapter as part of their overall education plan.
Toolie has been a member of the National Speakers Association since 2001 and an NSA Northwest Chapter Member since 2003.
Toolie The Travel Guide Speaks in Hong Kong

She also presented a talk entitled "Developing a Wise Travel Policy" to conference attendees on both days. Toolie met business travelers, business travel buyers, and a number of potential new partners in the business travel arena. Toolie The Travel Guide Speaks to NSA Northwest Chapter

Toolie the Travel Guide was a featured speaker at the November 2004 Saturday Workshop sponsored by NSA Northwest at The Effectiveness Institute in Bellevue, Washington. Toolie spoke on "Turning Travel Time into Up-Time", an approach to increasing personal productivity during business travel. A training CD of the same name is expected to be released in early 2006.
